If we interpret the layout guide literally:

  • For a subject's first appearance in the saga (in order of publication, not in order of internal chronology), use the {{1st}} template, e.g. for Kyle Katarn:
Star Wars: Dark Forces (First appearance)

Then {{1st}} should be there regardless of whether or not there are any further appearances. I used to not include it for one-appearance-subjects, but other users have added it into quite a few of my noms. As there's nothing in the layout guide to suggest that a one-appearance-subject should be treated any differently, using {{1st}} all the time seems to be the most accurate way to follow the guide. Espo comprehensive article suggestion

Hey, I saw your nominations. Exiled Jedi made several objections on context. A quick suggestion (didn't feel like repeating my self on all of them) is to either spell out Espo as Security Police which the title itself would then give context or you can leave the shortened Espo title and say law enforcement or police officers.
