Aceedo, welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers: [[:File:Thoseabouttojediwesaluteyou.jpg|thumb|180px|New Wookieepedian, Luke Skywalker salutes you]]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! — SFH 00:22, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Ace21.

Any specific reason why you copied User:Ace21's user page and then vandalized it? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 01:15, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

  • I Am User:Ace21. I didn't like the name. So I changed it. Aceedo 01:25, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
  • And if your on vacation, like your Userpage says so, how did you respond so quickly to me changing my Userpage. And why are you watching my Userpage so closely. I just changed my account 5 minutes ago! Aceedo 01:34, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
    • You should have redirected it. The reason I reverted it is because usually people don't switch names unless they're vandals. My apologies for the misunderstanding. And as for my "vacation", it's hard for me to get away from Wookieepedia. ;) Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 02:40, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
  • By the way how did you know I changed my account so fast!?! Aceedo 02:46, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Response.

Yeah, that was someone else who had been a vandal a while back. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:54, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

F-3PO

Hello, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We appreciate your contributions to the F-3PO article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. Happy editing! —Silly Dan (talk) 02:19, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Also, please remember to include the sources or appearances for your articles. See Wookieepedia:Manual of Style and Wookieepedia:Layout Guide for details. —Silly Dan (talk) 03:06, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
    • (If I sound angry in this message, I apologize, for we have had to tell a long succession of new editors exactly the same thing.) When I asked you to include sources, and not copy from CUSWE, this does not mean we want you to include a link to the CUSWE article in the sources or appearances section. The Appearances section is meant to list the books, video games, movies, etc., where a character or object occurs. The sources section is meant to include magazine articles, RPG supplements, and links to official websites. If you do not know where the subject of your article appeared, the CUSWE article can be used to find a list of appearances. If you don't have any of the primary sources for an article yourself, it's best not to add new entries based solely on CUSWE articles, as it's harder to avoid writing a new article which is uncomfortably close to the CUSWE article. Again, please check our Layout Guide for details. Thanks. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:00, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
      • Should I erase my articles that I wrote? Aceedo 22:03, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
        • No, just go back, add the proper sources, and make sure that no sentence is identical with its CUSWE counterpart. That should be enough. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:30, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
          • How do I add the source so it dosn't look like a 1 with an arrow next to it? Aceedo 22:31, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
            • Perhaps a sample article will explain better. I put one in the sandbox. Click edit, and you'll see what the wiki code should look like. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:11, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
              • Thank You very much for your advice. Sory about that. Aceedo 04:24, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Unblock template

As you have not actually been blocked (at least not under this name) I have removed the unblock template from your userpage. Please don't put it back unless you actually have been blocked, and are trying to get unblocked. —Silly Dan (talk) 02:25, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

  • I was blocked from editing A-3PO for some reason! Aceedo 21:38, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
    • That's odd, it's not protected. Did the error message state that you personally were blocked, or that your IP address was blocked? You may share an IP address with someone else (probably an anonymous vandal) who was blocked. If you use AOL, that's almost certainly the case. If it happens again, just reload and try to edit again. —Silly Dan (talk) 21:46, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
      • I do use Aol and It did say it was my IP address and I have try reloading it over and over. Once I reload about 10 times I can edit pages but I would rather be able to simply edit without the hassle of reloading. And my computer is slow so it takes a while to reload a page. And now I can't edit Q-3PO either. Aceedo
        • There's not much we can do: every so often, we have to ban anonymous AOL users, and end up taking out legitimate registered users along with them. It's a pain for editors and admins, I know. Maybe there's some way you can edit using a static IP address while still using AOL? Sorry I can't think of a better solution. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:17, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
          • That's alright, I'll make do with what I have. Thank you for your time. Aceedo 22:19, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
