Source
If you have a licensed source stating Unidentified Sith Master (Dxun) is human, please provide it. Otherwise your addition is Fanon. Just because it said Human when the page was created, does not mean he is. Wookieepedia is not a source. Supreme Emperor (talk) 17:53, November 19, 2013 (UTC)
- To be clear, all sources for Wookieepedia articles must be sourced from officially licensed Star Wars publications. Fan websites, including Wookieepedia itself, are not sources for this purpose. Additionally, while the duck test applies to characters who look human, you can't really say that about anyone in armor and a face-obscuring mask; they could be any number of humanoid species underneath. At any rate, please be extremely cautious going forward; this warning will be your last. If a character isn't explicitly said to be Human in an official source, or if its depiction doesn't give us enough information to make a reasonable duck test judgment, don't claim that the character is Human, or you will be blocked. jSarek (talk) 18:40, November 19, 2013 (UTC)
- It seems that you are not understanding. Look at your edit here: characters that have helmets over their face. Notice anything? Please do not assume and say that facial covered characters are Human without confirmation from an official source. You cannot apply the duck test to those characters and you cannot go around and guess. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked. JangFett (Talk) 14:05, November 24, 2013 (UTC)

What is fanon?
You need to check the definition of fanon. The term fanon is used to refer to fan-made fiction, aka made up by an unreliable source, including your imagination. What would a reliable source be? Any of these:
- All Star Wars films
- All Databank entries, Encyclopedia entries, and source material on StarWars.com, as well as any other articles on the official site that provide unique canonical information
- All episodes of Star Wars: Droids, Ewoks, Star Wars: Clone Wars, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series
- All live-action Star Wars specials/TV series
- All Marvel Comics and most Dark Horse Comics (see below) products
- All West End Games, Wizards of the Coast, and Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying books
- All novels, reference books, and collections of short stories published by Bantam Spectra, Del Rey, Dorling Kindersley or any other officially licensed publishers
- All young reader storybooks
- All Topps, Decipher and Wizards of the Coast cards and web sites
- All other official Star Wars websites, such as swtor.com and HoloNet News
- All LucasArts video and computer games, and related manuals, official strategy guides and web sites
- All issues of Star Wars Gamer, Star Wars Insider, The Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine, Bantha Tracks, Star Wars Official Poster Monthly, and The Official Star Wars Fact File
- All comments from Leland Chee or other VIPs regarding the content of the Holocron continuity database or official Lucasfilm decrees.
- All promotional material released by Lucas Online and its licensees through social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as posts that contain unique canonical information
- Officially licensed toys and any descriptions on their packaging
Oddly enough, your imagination is nowhere on this list of these sources, so yes, it is indeed fanon whether you like it or agree with it. Wookieepedia is an encyclopedia, not a publisher of original thought. Any information I add, on the other hand, is always backed up by one of these sources, as is Wookieepedia's policy. Blocked
You have been blocked from editing for one month for disruption and continuing to ignore the previous warnings. Before returning, please adhere to our canon policies. It is not up to you to decide what is canon or not (unless a source claims a person is Human, it is not up to you). To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. JangFett (Talk) 13:09, December 14, 2013 (UTC)
