  • it was just incorrect, bane isn't dead, part of him is still in zannah. drew says it on his spoiler page. Unsigned comment by 173.85.159.220 (talk • contribs)
    • No, Bane died, and Zannah killed him; but part of him was imprinted onto Zannah, which is what the article currently says. Jonjedigrandmaster (Jedi Beacon) 20:26, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
      • actually, no, you're wrong. Bane isn't killed. not that we know of yet. Drew says he's leaving how much of bane is still there for the future. it could be bane and her together completely, they seemed to be evenly matched. it could just be an imprint, but it isn't set in stone yet. Not until Drew tells us how much of bane is still there.
        • Well, in this post, Drew does mention that some fans might be "angry at me for killing off their personal favorite." ("personal favorite" meaning Bane, obviously), so I took the ending to mean that Bane was dead, but part of who he was imprinted on to Zannah; but after rereading the post, Drew also states clearly that it is ambiguous whether he lived or not: "The whole thing with Zannah’s hand twitching was only to show that some part of Bane had passed through to her. How much – was he still “alive” in some way, or is it just a small part of his identity imprinted on her – was supposed to be the ambiguous part." So I suppose while we can't say that he completely died, neither can we say he lived; I've reworded the article slightly to reflect this. Also, in the future, please simply correct any bit of information you see that is incorrect, do not undo the whole edit when the rest of the edit was productive, especially when the page had several mistakes in it previously.
