These pages I keep a close eye on pages I've already edit for activity. My hope is to be considered an expert on at least a few pages.
About Me
I am a Star Wars fan, and trying to assist with what I can for Wookieepedia. I used Wookieepedia a lot when I was younger, now I'm trying to pay it forward now that I'm an adult.
My Star Wars adventure started around the of 7 when I went to See Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith with my dad, why is an avid Star Trek fan, in theaters. Afterwards, he showed me all the rest of the Star Wars movies.
As a young child, I had fluid in my ear (was eventually found and removed), so I was a bit delayed in reading from preschool to 2nd grade. I was put in a few special classes, in hopes that I would be able to start reading at my level. I was a fairly mediocre reader, but that changed when in the second grade we were handed Scholastic book orders and told to pick a book. I didn't like books at the time, but I saw something that caught my eye. I came across the Star Wars: The Last of the Jedi series in the book catalog. Seeing Obi-Wan on the front cover, and remembering how much I loved watching all the movies with my dad, I ordered the first 4 books. I became glued to them, and so ordered the rest of the series. At the time, I didn't know it was actually one of the last parts of the Jedi Quest, Jedi Apprentice, and Rebel Missions storyline, but this series cemented my love in reading, and catapulted my reading levels. I continued reading every Star Wars book I could get my hands on. By the fourth grade I could read full-length novels.
My first novel was Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, followed by The Dark Lord Trilogy. I read these during ages 10-12. The Dark Lord Trilogy was around one thousand pages, so that occupied me for quite a while. Around this age, I was almost always reading a book, I always kept one book with me in my backpack. When I first read the second Darth Bane book, Rule of Two, I finished it in one day. I did absolutely nothing but read that entire day. I have done this on similar occasions in my early teens.
In 2011, age 13, I saw Fate of the Jedi: Omen and started with that. I haphazardly made my way through Legacy era. Starting with Omen, up to Fate of the Jedi: Vortex, then Fate of the Jedi: Outcast, then Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, then finished Fate of the Jedi. Christmas 2013 I received the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order series, which to date I have read 4 times. Once in 2014, another in 2015, 2016, and 2017- 2018. Since my rather...unusual introduction to Star Wars novels, I read them in all in chronological order (NJO, Star Wars: The Dark Nest Trilogy, LotF, FotJ). It has since 2018 become my opinion that the NJO series was ruined by subsequent series.
In 2018, I started with some classic Star Wars content. I played Knights of the Old Republic, and read the Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy and played Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords in 2019. I kept up to date with Star Wars lore that I didn't have the material for by reading Wookieepedia articles from maybe age 10-17. I knew all about the plot and events of KOTOR and the Thrawn Trilogy, but I stilled greatly enjoyed both series and hold them in high esteem.
In 2020, I began reading HandofThrawn45's fanfic novels (Dying Day and Sword of the Jedi) and reading the canon Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy novels.
In 2022, I begin contributing to Wookieepedia, focused on some Zahn works and characters, as well as grammar, spelling, and consistency. I started reading NJO again but I did not complete it this time.
In 2023, I watched Andor (television series), which I now profess as one of the greatest pieces of Star War media of all time. I began reading the Star Wars: The Corellian Trilogy and the Star Wars: Coruscant Nights trilogy. I stopped reading Coruscant Nights after the second book. I created my first page Electric vioddle and uploaded my first image.
Contact
You can find me nowadays playing on Star Wars: Battlefront II with friends. I also play the MovieBattles II mod on Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy once every few months, but I am an amateur duelist; the Ebon Hawk server on SWTOR using the name Tal'koran (all my character end with 'koran); or on SWG.
My Star Wars To-Do List
High Republic, X-wing novels, Legacy comics.
I am working on my own personal fanfic of a story set in 7283 BBY, 20 years after the Unification War set in the Tapani Empire. Looking at the Timeline of galactic history/Legends, too much see centered on the prequels and originals, and I thought branching out would be a great idea.
