With all the multiple Red/Green/Blue/Yellow/Polka Dot Squadrons in service with the Rebel Alliance, New Republic, and Galactic Alliance, this page is a small project that will attempt to list all known references to such squadrons in SW literature. The final aim of the project is to create multiple articles for each squadron for better clarity and linking.
Red Squadron
- Red Squadron (Independence)—served aboard the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Independence during the Galactic Civil War.[1]
- Red Squadron (Yavin)—served at Yavin Base, fought in the Battle of Yavin.[2]
- Red Squadron (Endor)—actually Rogue Squadron, temporarily rechristened in honour of the first Red Squadron.[3]
- Red Squadron (Star Tours)—defended a Star Tours StarSpeeder 3000 during a battle against the Death Star III.[4]
- Red Squadron (Mandjur)—stationed aboard the Majestic-class heavy cruiser Mandjur during the New Republic era.[5]
- Red Squadron (Intrepid)—station aboard the Endurance-class fleet carrier Endurance during the New Republic era.[6][5]
- Red Squadron (Galactic Alliance)—fought at the Battle of Yuuzhan'tar during the Yuuzhan Vong War.[7]
- Red Squadron (Fakir sector)—commanded by Bakki Sourthol during the Galactic Civil War.[8]
- Red Squadron (Liberty)—served aboard the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Liberty during the Galactic Civil War.[9]
Green Squadron
- Green Squadron (Yavin)—flew cover for Blue Squadron during the Battle of Yavin.[10]
- Green Squadron (Hoth)—stationed at Echo Base in the Hoth system.[9]
- Green Squadron (Liberty)—served aboard the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Liberty.[11]
- Green Squadron (Endor)—fought at the Battle of Endor. Commanded by Arvel Crynyd.[3]
- Green Squadron (Ession)—fought at the Battle of Ession.[12]
- Green Squadron (Cyax system)—patrolled the Cyax system.[13]
- Green Squadron (Mon Calamari)—fought at the Battle of Calamari in 10 ABY.[14]
- Green Squadron (Smarck)—fought at the Battle of Smarck.[15]
- Green Squadron (New Republic)—fought in the Yuuzhan Vong War. Commanded by Captain Yakown Reth.[16]
Blue Squadron
- Blue Squadron (Independence)—served aboard the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Independence during the Galactic Civil War. Commanded by Captain Ernek Marskan.[1]
- Blue Squadron (Yavin)—fought in the Battle of Yavin. Commanded by Captain Merrick Simms.
- Blue Squadron (Bothawui)—participated in the assault on the Suprosa.[17][9]
- Blue Squadron (Defiance)—served aboard the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Defiance.[9]
- Blue Squadron (Endor)—fought at the Battle of Endor.[18][19]
- Blue Squadron (Ession)—trained at Folor Base, fought at the Battle of Ession.[12]
