This swoop biker rode a Flare-S swoop in Mos Eisley and startled a ronto and its Jawa riders when Luke Skywalker was about to meet Han Solo in the Mos Eisley Cantina.[2] He was a mercenary and likely part of a Tatooine swoop gang. He wore a tall shock-helmet.[1]
Behind the scenes
Concept art of this rider drawn by TyRuben Ellingson[3] showed a complete detailed view of the character, though he can only be glimpsed briefly in the Special Edition of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. One piece shows two riders instead of one, both wearing similar outfits.[4] This character has not received an official name, but ILM staff nicknamed him "Bubba Fett."[3]
