Unidentified sparring droid

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A sparring droid served the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. The sparring droid was activated by Jedi Padawan Reath Silas, who wished to train against it to take his mind off of the recent death of his Jedi Master, Jora Malli, and the apparent death of Jedi Knight Dez Rydan. After parrying and deflecting several blasts from the droid, Silas slashed at it with his lightsaber; however, the intensity of his strike nearly sliced its head off. The droid, its head dangling, congratulated him, advising that his next practice be at a higher setting. Supporting its head in one of its clawlike hands, the droid left to undergo repairs.^[1]
