Lando Calrissian claimed to have defeated an evil sorcerer who had dedicated his life to killing him. That tale, however, was met with much skepticism, especially since Calrissian also claimed that the sorcerer in question could fit in the palm of a hand. Midnight, a bartender at the Lodge on the planet Vandor, included that anecdote in his journal, among other tall tales surrounding Calrissian.[1]
Behind the scenes
The sorcerer was first mentioned in Solo: A Star Wars Story: Tales from Vandor, a replica journal written by Jason Fry[1] that was published by Studio Fun International and released on September 11, 2018.[2] It is an allusion to a character from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Sorcerer of Tund Rokur Gepta, who served as the main antagonist in L. Neil Smith's The Lando Calrissian Adventures.[3]
