The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A slicer was active during the then-ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire.[1] By 3643 BBY,[2] he stole the plans for a new prototype shuttle from[1] the starship manufacturer[3] Zentine Dynamics and subsequently hid on the astronomical object Verroth.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

By that year,[2] an individual affiliated with one of the two sides in the conflict between the Republic and the Sith Empire sent a companion to recover the data on Verroth. The latter individual sliced into the slicer's computers and destroyed his files, and also appropriated certain valuable items from a cache of tech data.[1]

Behind the scenes

The slicer was mentioned in BioWare's 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic within the Crew Skill Mission "Corporate Espionage," though the information regarding the mission's outcome was later removed from the video game.[1]

  2. 2.0 2.1 Per the reasoning here, Act I of Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place around 3643 BBY. Since players of The Old Republic can assign their companions on the mission "Corporate Espionage" independently of the main class storyline at any point during the game, the mission must take place at some point around 3643 BBY.
