In 99 BBY,[2] a professor proposed a theory claiming that the Unknown Regions Garwian and Vak species had a trade relationship in the Midorian Era.[1] In 19 BBY,[2] the Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," considered the professor a fool and claimed that the theory was absurd while on the Vak homeworld of Primea.[1]

The professor was mentioned in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment in Timothy Zahn's Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
