A private security firm operated on[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Coruscant during the High Republic Era.[1] In 232 BBY,[3] the security firm took part in a high-speed chase with a thief in Coruscant's skylanes that resulted in a jet bike careening out-of-control and striking a hovercar that was carrying Jedi Master Ash Masingani and Jedi youngling Cam Lindon. The hovercar's pilot was killed because of the collision, while Masingani was badly injured and Lindon's larynx was destroyed after he fell several levels and landed on a landing platform.[1] In 228 BBY,[3] while traveling on the science ship Innovator, Lindon—by then a Padawan—mentally recalled the security firm's chase with the thief that led to the collision that destroyed his larynx.[1]
