A pit fighter fought at the fighting pits on[1] the Outer Rim world[3] Nar Kanji[1] and wielded a knife laced with beskar.[2] By 3 ABY,[1] the individual fought against fellow pit fighter Tasu Leech, who defeated them. In the pit fighter's dying moments, Leech took their blade from their grasp.[2]

Sometime later,[2] between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[4] Leech confronted "Ren"—the leader of[2] the group of dark-side practitioners[5] known as the Knights of Ren—aboard the Vermillion, the flagship of the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn. During the battle, Leech used the blade to combat Ren, who asked his opponent what he was doing with such a weapon, to which Leech informed the Knight of the fallen pit fighter.[2]

Behind the scenes

The pit fighter was mentioned in the twenty-fifth issue of the 2020 comic series Star Wars: Bounty Hunters. The issue was written by Ethan Sacks and published by Marvel Comics[2] on July 13, 2022.[6]
