Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A moisture prospector was an inhabitant of the planet of Tatooine who erected a hut in the Jundland Wastes, near the Western Dune Sea. After the individual abandoned the hut, it came into the possession of former Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was hiding under the name "Ben."[1]

Behind the scenes

The moisture prospector was first mentioned in the canon reference book Ultimate Star Wars, released in 2015.[1]
