The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A model of maintenance droid existed in the galaxy. Unit ML-08 was one such droid.[2]

The maintenance droid model had a similar design to[2] T3-K10, an astromech droid produced by Duwani Mechanical Products whose design was a twist on an effective, but ancient, model. The ancient design had become popular during the Cold War.[5]
