Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

Upon the activation of five identical IG-88 assassin droids[1] at the Holowan Laboratories[2] shortly after the Clone Wars,[3] they slaughtered their constructors and escaped their laboratories into the galaxy.[1]
