A kesium mine on the desert planet Jakku had tunnels that ran from the crater of Cratertown to the north of Kelvin Ravine just beyond Meru's waystation on the Pilgrim's Road.[1] Between 34 ABY and 35 ABY,[2] the Kessurian Leesa Chaffni remembered her father, the kesium miner Lubos, talking about the mine and found a map of it on his datapad, using the tunnels to try and reach the wreckage of the Dreadnought-class heavy cruiser Explorator.[1]
