A male jewel thief was active during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. When the thief stole a priceless bangle that was commissioned for the wedding of a crime lord's daughter, the thief sought help from an underworld individual to smooth over the situation. The negotiator convinced the crimelord to buy the bangle from the thief for a fraction of the jeweler's price, ending the tense situation.[1]
