A male crime lord was active during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, and he commissioned a priceless bangle from a jeweler for his daughter's wedding. When a jewel thief stole the bangle without knowing who it was for, an independent individual negotiated a deal where the crime lord bought the bangle for a fraction of the jeweler's price.[1]
