Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A variety of jellyfish was native to the planet Dac. Cloned tissue from the jellyfish was used to produce organic gills.[1]

Behind the scenes

The jellyfish was mentioned in Gadgets and Gear, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2019.[1]
