"Yesterday I kicked another informant to death for lying about his whereabouts—bringing the total to six. In the interests of equilibrium, I have chosen to temporarily adjust to a less…hands-on strategy."
―Tam Posla comments on killing the informant[2]

An individual served as an informant for the vigilante Tam Posla during the latter's hunt for[2] the criminal surgeon[3] Cornelius Evazan[2] around 1 ABY.[1] After the informant lied to Posla about Evazan's whereabouts, the vigilante kicked the informant to death, making them the sixth informant[2] he[3] had killed for providing a false location of the surgeon. The next day, the 421st day of the hunt for Evazan, Posla recounted killing the informant to the mission log aboard his ship, adding that he had chosen to take a less hands-on approach in order to help maintain his mental equilibrium.[2]

Behind the scenes

The informant was first mentioned in the twenty-second issue of the 2016 Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic series, written by Simon Spurrier[2] and published by Marvel Comics on July 25, 2018.[4]

  1. 1.0 1.1 Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of issues 9 to 31 of the Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic-book series to around 1 ABY. Therefore Doctor Aphra 22 must take place around 1 ABY. Since at the start of the issue, Tam Posla recalled killing the informant the day prior, the informant must have died around that year.
