This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1]
Biology and appearance
This sentient species was distinguished by their hunched posture, brown and pink skin, thick tails covered in stubby spines, and mouths featuring four fleshy, tube-like protrusions.[1]
Species in the galaxy
In 34 ABY,[2] a member of this species was present at Takodana Castle when the First Order destroyed the Hosnian system and invaded the planet Takodana in search of the droid BB-8.[1]
Behind the scenes
The species made their debut in the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams.[1] They were originally designed by concept designer Jake Lunt Davies,[3] and were referred to by the production code "C079."[4]

He was this cool little bounty hunter hanging out at Maz's castle.
