"This is a painting of that weird human family that crashed here, but… I don't remember them looking quite so jumbled up…"
―An Ewok[1]

By 4 ABY,[2] a family of four humans crashed on the forest moon of Endor, and the Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick kept a painting of himself and another Ewok with the family in his hut.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

That year,[2] some pieces of the painting were scattered around the hut, and a Force-sensitive individual helped put it back together.[1]

Behind the scenes

"Our picture of that family that crashed all that time ago is all jumbled! I don't care who did it, as long as it gets fixed!"
―The mission description[1]
The Towani family as they appear in Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure

The Towani family as they appear in Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure

The family appeared in a painting in the non-canon 2022 video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. In the game during the mission "Courageous Cache," the player is tasked with using a Jedi or dark side character with the ability to use the Force to rebuild the painting. After completing the mission, the player is awarded with the ability to purchase a TIE/IN interceptor.[1]

The family originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, first appearing, albeit unidentified, in the 1984 film Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure.[3] It was later identified as the Towani family in the 1995 reference book The Essential Guide to Characters, written by Andy Mangels. They consisted of Catarine, Jeremitt, Mace, and Cindel Towani.[4]
