- "Ah! You must be an enterprising volunteer, ready to donate your time and blaster for the pursuit of science"
"Uhh, maybe? So what's the deal here, you want me to fight a bunch of droids?"
"Yes! SID needs to be field tested. I need real-time data of how it performs in a live fire scenario, so I can keep fine-tuning." - ―Droidsmith to Kay Vess
A human droidsmith that worked with the Hutt Cartel on Akiva.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] they were looking for a volunteer to test SID, a prototype combat droid, in a live fire engagement. They had light skin, black hair and red eyes. They wore a gray cowl over a yellow shirt, brown finger-less gloves and tan pants with a brown belt.[1]
Kay Vess met with the droidsmith after being referred to the testing by a Quarren in Myrra during 3 ABY/The droidsmith informed Vess about that they needed her to fight side to gather data and allow them to fine tune Sid. They then gave Vess the option to decide the difficult SID would operate at. After selecting the difficulty, Vess then proceeded to fight and destroy SID.[1]
