A dragonsnake lived on Dagobah during the Galactic Civil War.[2] In 3 ABY,[3] the aspiring Jedi Luke Skywalker crash-landed in the middle of Dragonsnake Bog, where the creature was at the time.[2] The dragonsnake attempted to eat Skywalker's astromech droid R2-D2, but ended up spitting him out.[3]
