Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A giant crab-like creature was known to inhabit the Kankalo Belt Containment Zone. It was able to survive in the vacuum of space.[1]

Although Imperial protocol advised against disturbing the creature, Governor Ahr of the Galactic Empire purposefully sent the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader after the creature following the attack on Phelzepham, hoping the beast would destroy the Sith Lord. His plan backfired, however, when Vader lured the creature back to Ahr's Star Destroyer, where the creature killed the governor.[1]
