A countess lived on[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Abregado-rae during the High Republic Era. The woman ordered a saberfish from[1] the Mid Rim planet[2] Tibrin for her private aquarium, which was transported there by Byne Guild Captain Hedda Casset's Class A modular freight transport Legacy Run in a water tank within its primary compartment. Upon arrival, however, the countess's staff did not know how to care for the creature, and it grew sick.[1]
The countess opted to pay the Legacy Run to send the saberfish back to Tibrin three days later, which the captain's crew did with difficulty. Casset later thought about the ordeal[1] in 232 BBY,[3] mentally commending the woman for saving the creature when many other nobles would have let it die.[1]
Behind the scenes
The countess was mentioned in The High Republic: Light of the Jedi, a 2021 novel written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4] A preliminary excerpt of the novel released on IGN on June 22, 2020 specified that the saberfish sent to the countess's aquarium was from[5] the Core Worlds planet[6] Spira;[5] however, this was changed to Tibrin in the final version.[1]
