A clone trooper spoke over a restricted military frequency with Republic protocol droid C-3PO, who called for immediate help for Naboo senator Padmé Amidala, who had been apprehended by Separatist forces on the planet of Rodia. When the trooper realized they were speaking to a droid, the clone told C-3PO that the code was for military use only, ending the transmission before C-3PO could finish pleading for help. However, the appearance of B1-series battle droids behind C-3PO revealed the droid was serious, resulting in the 41st Elite Corps arriving on Rodia.[2]
