Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina had a boss and owner who took over the Mos Eisley bar sometime after the rescue of Han Solo. Maxxon Senn told droid EV-9D9 that the boss was looking for a droid to tend the bar. She took the job and was reprogrammed by them to be a service droid, and was told by the owner to only do her job and not dismember droids like she used to when she worked at Jabba's palace, warning her that she would be sent to the foundry if she did.[1]
