"Please, Boss, stop arguing! You too, my lady! We need to flee before the Imperial troops arrive."
―The clan member begs Yasaburō and Ochō to stop arguing[1]

An individual was a human member of the Yasaburō clan on the planet Tao at some point between 12 BBY and 1 BBY during the Imperial Era. After an attack on Tao's Imperial base led by the clan's leader Yasaburō, his daughter Ochō argued with him over his attack against the Empire. The clan member begged the two of them to stop arguing and wanted everyone to leave before the Imperial troops arrived. When patrol troopers neared their position, the clan member—along with most of the other members—fled the area. The clan member then later abandoned the clan in fear of the Empire.

Biography

"The Empire provides for us and offers support! We should be grateful."
"What they're providing isn't support. It's just a diplomatic way of saying they're taking over!"

The clan member was present for the argument between Yasaburō and Ochō after an attack on an Imperial base

The individual was a human in the service of Yasaburō and his clan on the planet Tao during the Imperial Era.[1] At one point between 12 BBY and 1 BBY,[2] the clan member was present during an attack on Tao's Imperial base led by Yasaburō. After the attack, Yasaburō's daughter Ochō argued with her father over his actions against the Galactic Empire, believing that they were the only way Tao could progress.[1]

The clan member stood with the group of other members behind Ochō, begging for her and Yasaburō to stop fighting and stating that they needed to leave before the Imperial troops arrived. When Yasaburō's other daughter, Lop, arrived and investigated the incident, another member of the clan who stood near them asked Lop to end the argument between her family, and she tried to make them stop to no avail. When Imperial patrol troopers began nearing the clan's position, the clan member fled the scene along with most of the other members. The clan member later abandoned the clan in fear of the Empire.[1]

Personality and traits

"Bunch of cowards, every single one of them"
―Yasaburō, about the people who abandoned the clan[1]

The clan member was a human with light skin and brown hair with a small patch of facial hair below their bottom lip. They did not want Yasaburō and Ochō to argue, instead wanting everyone to leave the area before the Empire arrived. The clan member abandoned the clan after the attack.[1]

Equipment

The clan member wore purple and green Yasaburō clan robes with yellow trim featuring the clan's crest on the back.[1]

The clan member first appeared in "Lop & Ochō," a non-canon short film released as part of the first volume of the Star Wars: Visions animated series. The episode was produced by Geno Studio[1] and released on Disney+ on September 22, 2021.[3] The clan member's lines were not included in Haruichi's manga adaptation of the episode published by Gangan Comics[4] and released on June 24, 2022.[5]
