A Weequay worked as a mechanic for Jabba the Hutt in his criminal empire during the Imperial Era. In 4 ABY, the mechanic was busy cheating at sabacc on his own when two female individuals, Valnir Nai and Laizhu Bedenn, attempted to escape from Jabba's Palace in a luxury speeder. When the Weequay asked the two how much it was worth to be silent about their escape, Bedenn tossed a gemstone at his feet. The mechanic accepted the gemstone as payment and the two escaped unnoticed from the garage.[1]
