- "He went to some trouble to hide these people and their home from us. Let's see what we can learn of them despite his efforts."
- ―Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo
A Void Guide served in the Navigators' Guild as a Void Guide during the Nikardun Destiny's conquests. He was hired by some Paccosh refugees to escape the Nikardun, however, when he arrived at a rendezvous point where another warship was supposed to meet them, all Paccosh died due to lack of oxygen. The Guide then erased as many recordings from the ship's computer before dying.
Biography
- "You said some of the recordings survived,"
"Any navigational records among them?"
"An excellent question, Mid Captain, [...] The answer is no. It appears the navigator was the last to die, and erased as many records as he could before the end. The only reason we have the audio recordings is that they were stored in a different location than the others and he apparently missed them." - ―Samakro and Thrawn
During the Nikardun conquests. He served as the navigator of a Paccosh refugee starship which were trying to escape the hegemonic government of the Nikardun Destiny. The Guide's vessel arrived at the rendezvous point where another Paccosh starship was going to rendezvous with the Void Guide's, however, his vessel was stranded. The Paccosh then asphyxiated due to the lack of oxygen, with the Void Guide being the last to die. Before his death, he erased as many recordings as he could from the starship's computer, only leaving audio recordings.[1]
Later, when Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo (Core name "Thrawn") was investigating the Paccosh refugees, he came across the Void Guide's vessel, which contained all dead Paccosh bodies and the Guide's body. After an examination of the remaining recordings and the bodies, Thrawn could determine that the Void Guide died the last, and Ufsa'mak'ro (Core name "Samakro") determined he was a void guide.[1]
