A Rutian Twi'lek rebel served as a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic after the Battle of Hoth aboard the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Redemption. Sometime after Starlight Squadron leader Lieutenant Shara Bey was forced to remain behind on the Imperial Star Destroyer Tarkin's Will in order for her squadron^[1] to leave with navigational data and other valuable intelligence the Alliance could use in their fight with the Empire,^[2] Bey's husband, Kes Dameron, asked the Twi'lek if there had been any word from Bey, to which the Twi'lek responded that there hadn't been any. A short while later, the Twi'lek informed General Leia Organa, who was speaking with Dameron, that Bey had sent a signal to them using the^[1] Trawak^[2] codes the rebels had recently established.^[1]
