Starlight Leader

Starlight Leader,^[3] also known as Starlight One, was the callsign assigned to the lead pilot of the Rebel Alliance's Starlight Squadron. During the Galactic Civil War, Shara Bey used this callsign during Operation Starlight where she led the squadron flying a RZ-1 A-wing interceptor against Imperial forces.^[2]

Behind the scenes

The callsign made its first appearance as Starlight One in Star Wars (2020) 10, a comic written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Jan Bazaldúa, and published by Marvel Comics^[2] on January 6, 2021.^[4] The callsign then changed to Starlight Leader in Star Wars (2020) 11, the next issue of the comic series^[3] published on February 3, 2021.^[5]
