A Twi'lek served as the helm officer for an armed freighter affiliated with the Free Ryloth Movement in 14 BBY.

Biography

In 14 BBY, this helm officer was tasked with ferrying the Free Ryloth Movement's leader, Cham Syndulla, his lieutenant, Isval, and a skeleton crew of resistance fighters to an off-the-chart star system. There they planned to rendezvous with another Free Ryloth unit that had successfully hijacked an Imperial weapons shipment from the Yaga Minor shipyards. Under orders from Cham, the helm officer hid her ship in the asteroid ring of an unidentified gas giant to ensure they remained hidden from Imperial probes. This act of caution proved lifesaving, as while the helm officer had their ship hidden, the team they were meant to rendezvous with was set upon by a squadron of V-wings led by Darth Vader.

After being forced to watch helplessly as Darth Vader and his V-wings slaughtered the Free Ryloth hijackers, the helm officer was ordered by Cham to shut down their freighter's engines and put the ship on minimum life support as the remaining V-wings began sweeping the surrounding area. With this, the helm officer masked the ship to appear like an asteroid, or a piece of space debris, until the Empire had departed. The helm officer then reactivated the freighter's engines and returned the crew to Ryloth to begin planning how they would get their revenge on Darth Vader.^[1]
