Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A Tarnab colony was located on[1] the Outer Rim[2] desert planet[3] Sriluur by the time of the Republic Era. The Tarnab artist Tantagru Motts-Danel hailed from the colony. Shortly after the Hosnian Cataclysm[1] of 34 ABY,[4] the book A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy—a work looking at the usage of propaganda by various factions—was released and mentioned the colony while detailing information about Motts-Danel's life.[1]

The colony was mentioned in Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy, a 2016 reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
