A TIE series variant was in service of the Galactic Empire on[1] the planet Selk.[2] The starfighter had a bottom-mounted searchlight, two antennas, and a central cockpit connected to two vertical hexagonal wings.[1]

Behind the scenes

The TIE variant appeared in "In the Stars," a non-canon short film released as part of the second volume of the Star Wars: Visions series, written and directed by Gabriel Osorio. The animated short, produced by Punkrobot Studios, was released on Disney+[1] on September 22, 2021.[3]
