- "Where's that coming from?"
"I see the shooter up in the tower! Over there!" - ―This Commando and another member of his squad
This Senate Commando was stationed at the Republic Executive Building on Coruscant in 20 BBY during the Senate hostage crisis and was killed in a fight against bounty hunters led by Cad Bane.[2]
Biography
When Cad Bane, along with several droids and Shahan Alama, arrived at a platform of the Republic Executive Building and landed without permission, a squad of Senate Commandos, including this one, led by Captain Jayfon went to arrest them. After the captain told Bane to surrender, Aurra Sing began shooting at the commandos from a nearby tower. They spread out, moving toward speeders and taking cover against them, and this commando inquired as to wear the sniper fire was coming from. Another commando spotted Aurra Sing and relayed her location before being shot by her. After she shot another commando, Bane killed Jayfon before the droids and Shahan Alama also started firing at the squad. As more commandos were shot, this one swung his rifle toward the droids and Alama to fire at them but was killed by Aurra Sing. Shortly afterwards, the rest of the Senate Commandos were killed and Bane's group continued with their plan to take Republic senators hostage in order to get Ziro released from prison.[2]
Personality and traits
As a Senate Commando, he was one of the best Senate Guards, well-trained in armed and unarmed combat.[3] Like the other Senate commandos on the platform, he had quick reflexes, attempting to move away from Aurra Sing's line of fire immediately after she began shooting at them.[2]
Behind the scenes
This Senate Commando first appeared in "Hostage Crisis," the 22nd episode of the first season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, which aired on March 20, 2009.[4]
