"What was the name of the girl?"
"Izal Garsea. Brave one. Is she around? I'd like to buy her a drink, too. I rode past Salju's and her ship was still there."
―Ksana's father and the Quarren patron[1]

A Quarren patron visited the Outer Rim planet Batuu by the time of the war between the First Order and the Resistance.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] he visited Batuu's Black Spire Outpost and saw the smuggler Izal Garsea's light freighter, the Meridian, parked at the repair station operated by the mechanic Salju. The patron then decided to ride to the nearby Oga's Cantina establishment, ordering himself a beer.[1]

As he finished his beverage in the cantina, he, the farmer Julen Rakab, and the father of the Nautolan Ksana discussed whether Garsea had departed the planet yet. The patron insisted that Garsea must still be on Batuu because he had seen her ship just prior, remarking that he wanted to buy her a drink to thank her for her work in arresting the crew of the smuggler Ana Tolla.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Quarren patron appeared in A Crash of Fate, a 2019 young-adult novel written by Zoraida Córdova.[1]
