During the High Republic Era, a Quarren served as a pirate within the Nihil and was stationed on the planet Angoth.[2] In 228 BBY,[1] the Jedi Order approved a mission to the planet in an attempt to retrieve a living specimen of a Nameless, a creature that fed on force-sensitives, and later study it. Once at the Nihil base, the two Jedi humans Amadeo Azzazzo and Mirro Lox infiltrated the right side of the base to fend off marauders in hopes that a group of Republic Defense Coalition personnel could contain a Nameless. While defending himself from oncoming Nihil, Azzazzo sensed the Quarren approaching from behind with the Force and stabbed them in the chest with his lightsaber, which quickly killed them. Azzazzo regretted the death of the Nihil before shielding himself from blaster fire.[2]
Equipment
The Quarren had pink skin and carried a dagger which they planned to use to eliminate Azzazzo.[2]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Temptation of the Force takes place one year and six weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY. The High Republic: Beware the Nameless takes place one year and six weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, meaning its events must be set in that year. As The High Republic: Tears of the Nameless begins after Temptation of the Force and Beware the Nameless occurs during it, its events, including the death of the Quarren Nihil on Angoth, must also be set in 228 BBY.
