A Pyke member of the Pyke Syndicate and friends with the astromech R5-T9. Both of which resided on the Outer Rim moon Toshara during the reign of the Galactic Empire.

Biography

A Pyke member of the Pyke Syndicate operated on the Outer Rim moon Toshara[1] in 3 ABY.[2] During which they were friends R5-T9, a top-of-the-line astromech who was free to move around the moon, but knew to meet the Pyke at Mirogana Market in Mirogana, the capital city of Toshara. At one point during that year T9 went missing and the Pyke began accused a technician of being the cause of the droids disappearance.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Outlaws. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

Over hearing the exchange, a scoundrel named Kay Vess interjected to ask about T9. After the Pyke explained who T9 was and once again accused the Technician of behind responsible for T9's disappearance. Technician responded by stating that they wouldn't want T9 since he regular zapped them using his shock prod and went on to suggested that T9 might have been captured by by the bandits near Typhon's Rock. Addressing Vess, the Pyke asked her if she would check the camp and see if T9 was there. Having agreed to help, Vess later found and freed T9 from a Vagrant's Camp near Typhon's Rock. She later met up with T9 and the Pyke at the Mirogana Spaceport and the Pyke thanked her for her help and promise that the Pykes would not forget her help.[1]

They were a Pyke with teal skin and black eyes. During 3 ABY, they considered R5-T9 to be their only friend.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Pyke appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They were identified by the game's subtitles as simply "Pyke" and was apart of the "Missing Astromech" intel quest. Completing the quest rewards the player with an increase in their reputation with the Pyke Syndicate.[1]
