"What are you doing out in the middle of nowhere?"
"I was trying to make contact with the Jawas, but those rats got me on the way to Beggar's Canyon."
"Yeah, that's the price of doing business out here. Bandits, raiders, hostile wildlife... should have hired a freelancer."
"Like yourself? Skip the sales pitch for now. I need bacta if you can spare it."

A Pyke member of the Pyke Syndicate was stationed on the Outer Rim desert planet, Tatooine[1] in 3 ABY. That year,[2] they were attacked on their way to Beggar's Canyon on Tatooine while trying to make contact with a group of Jawa. They were injured during the attack but managed to make their way to a settlement in the Desert Valley of Tatooine where they stopped and sought bacta to treat their injures. They spoke Galactic Basic and while at the settlement they wore a Pyke helmet, a teal tunic, black gloves and grey boots.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Outlaws. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

They were later approached by the thief Kay Vess who questioned why they were out in the middle of nowhere. The Pyke mentioned the attack and proceeded to asked Vess for some spare bacta, telling her that the Pyke Syndicate would appreciate her helping their own, leaving Vess with a choose of whether to hand over one of her bacta vials or not.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Pyke appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. If the player has a bacta vial in their inventory then they will have the option of giving it to the Pyke resulting in an increase in their reputation with the Pyke Syndicate. If instead they choose to simply leave or do not have a bacta vial then they will end the conversation. The interaction is entirely optional and not part of any of the game's quests.[1]
