A Scofti male became the Prefect and Head of State of the Unknown Regions Scoftic government, after the previous one was assassinated,[1] around 36 BBY. Around that year,[2] the Chiss Ascendancy nation, among other nearby nations, sent an ambassador to meet the new Prefect and learn his new protocols.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Prefect was mentioned in flashbacks of the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
