A Scofti male served as the Prefect and Head of State of the Unknown Regions Scoftic government.[2] Around 36 BBY,[1] the Prefect was assassinated, and was subsequently replaced by a new Prefect.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Prefect was mentioned in flashbacks of the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[2]
