"I don't think my brother's going to show. Blasted Pykes...my family's been milking robuma for generations. No longer it seems."
"I don't know if your brother's still alive, but he wouldn't have let the Pykes take the farm without a fight."
"If the story about the Pykes is real...but it's perfect cover. The family savings would completely clear all the debt he's racked up from gambling."

A male farmer who operated a Robuma farm on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. By 3 ABY, the farm had been taken over by members of the Pyke Syndicate after they poached the Robuma and forced the farmer to flee.

Biography

A male farmer had a farm on the Outer Rim moon Toshara during the reign of the Galactic Empire. He had a sibling and their family had milked Robuma, herbivorous mammals native to Toshara, for generations.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] the brother had racked up a notable debt from gambling. Later members of Pyke Syndicate approached the farm to steal its Robuma. He tired to fight the syndicate members but was hit by a stun blast and when he woke up the Robuma had been taken and the farm had been trashed. The brother did manage to hide the family savings on the clifftop near the farm. The brother took enough from the savings to pay for a ticket to Renpalli Station in orbit over Toshara and planed to hitch a ride to another world from there. He left a note for his sibling detailing his plans and the location of the saving on a datapad at the farm before leaving.

In 3 ABY,[2] his sibling talked with a human farmer about their brother, the family savings and the farm take over while in the town of Jaunta's Hope on Toshara. During the conversation the sibling expressed their worry that the take over was a cover to allow them to steal the family saving to pay off their gambling debts. Though the sibling also told the other farmer that if they didn't hear from the brother they planned to head to the farm to look for them.

Unbeknownst to either of the farmers in Jaunta's Hope a thief named Kay Vess listened to their conversation and later traveled to the former farm where she found a number of Pykes guarding it. She eventual made her way into the farm building where she discovered the note and used its information to steel the stashed family's credits for herself.[1]

Behind the scenes

The brother was mentioned in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They were mentioned as part of the "Family Fortune" intel quest and is the author of the datapad entry "Hey!" which players can find at the stockroom.[1]
