Unidentified Obbic transport

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A pirate vessel was disguised as an Obbic transport prior to the breakout of the Vagaari pirate operations. The pirate ship was operated by rogue Chiss criminals belonging to the Chiss Ascendancy's Clarr family, and disguised their starship as a transport owned by the Obbic family. The pirate vessel, referred to by various Chiss as "the Obbic transport," hijacked a Stybla family cargo ship carrying part of the weapon Starflash, leading Stybla Patriarch Stybla'mi'ovodo "Lamiov" to request assistance from the Mitth family for a mission to recover the Vivan cargo ship and its stolen cargo.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The so-called Obbic transport appeared in flashbacks in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, written by Timothy Zahn as the final novel of Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.^[1]
