An engineer was a member of the Myke species.[1] By around 40 ABY,[2] the engineer attributed the name of the Aleph-class starfighter from a letter in their language that resembled the twin-tailed starship.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Myke engineer was mentioned in "The Written Word," an article authored by John Hazlett published on StarWars.com through Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club on March 5, 2010.[1]
