Myke was a language used by[1] the sentient species[2] also known as the Myke. Its written language was rooted in the Sith language.[1] By around 40 ABY,[3] the Aleph-class starfighter was named by a Myke engineer who felt the ship's twin-tailed design resembled a letter from their alphabet. The letter, despite being derived from its counterpart in Common Sith, bore little resemblance to the Sith letter.[1]
Behind the scenes
Myke was mentioned in "The Written Word," an article authored by John Hazlett and published on StarWars.com through Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club on March 5, 2010.[1]
