A city was located on[1] the Outer Rim Territories[2] planet Mygeeto. It was a vast metropolis and featured a big spaceport. During the Clone Wars, battles had been fought in the city and heavy artillery strikes had damaged or destroyed many of it's buildings.[1] Around 18 BBY,[3] the city was in the state of being repaired. During this time the city's spaceport was visited by the members of Clone Force 99 and Phee Genoa on their shuttle the Marauder who were there to pick up two passengers—the fugitives Sohi and Ponder—and refuel.[1]

Behind the scenes

The city first appeared in the 2025 novel Sanctuary: A Bad Batch Novel, written by Lamar Giles.[1] Giles confirmed on Bluesky that the city in the novel was meant to be a different one to the one featured in the film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.[4]

  3. StarWars.com The Bad Batch is Back in Star Wars: Sanctuary - Cover Art Reveal on StarWars.com (backup link) establishes that the events of Sanctuary: A Bad Batch Novel take place during season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, specifically after the episode "Pabu." As StarWars.com Clone Force 99 Is Back in New Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Trailer on StarWars.com (backup link) states that "Pabu" is the thirteenth episode of The Bad Batch Season 2, per the reasoning here, it and Sanctuary: A Bad Batch Novel must take place around 18 BBY.

Is the city on Mygeeto in the novel meant to be the same as the one seen in Ep. III or just a different war torn city on the same planet? Thank you!")
