In 382 BBY,[2] a Mon Calamari member of the Path of the Open Hand cult attended a speech given by Path member Jaydyn outside of the Path's Healing house in the Holy city of the moon Jedha. When Jedi Master Vildar Mac and Jedi Padawan Matthea Cathley made their way through the crowd of people gathered for the speech, the Mon Calamari grabbed Cathley's wrist and told her that they should listen to the Path's message because what the Jedi were doing was wrong and endangering everyone.[1]
